Jan 6, 1936: Catherine& Truman Rembusch purchase the Artcraft Theatre from W.W and Louise B. Aikens

Oct 28, 1936: Frist Extensive Remodeling of the Artcraft Theatre announced with a new front and triangular marquee.
- January of 1934, manager of the Artcraft, Fahnley Bridges, raises the price of admission on bargain nights from ten cents to fifteen cents. The regular price of admission was twenty-five cents.
- In July of 1934, the swamp cooler, new decorations, and new, leather cushioned, seats were installed.
- In November of 1938 Mrs. Ruby Hoffman put on a three day cooking school for a crowd of 1,300 women.
- On May 10, 1939, the senior class of Franklin High School presented a three act comedy called, “The Adorable Spendthrift.”
- On July, 28 1939 a film deal with United Artist Corporation was approved.
