How does the sponsorship party work?
WHAT IS IT?
The Artcraft Sponsorship party is our largest fundraiser - held to announce the 2016-17 film and event series at the theater. The funds raised - via silent auction - are used to offset costs such as film licensing, production costs, equipment rental, talent fees and more.
The event is free to attend.

Registration is free and easy! The first 200 to RSVP will be registered to win one of three prizes. We encourage you to show
your pirate side and come in costume!
Come to The Historic Artcraft Theatre (57 N. Main St., Franklin) on Saturday, February 6, at 6 p.m. When you arrive, you will be greeted inside the door, checked in, given your name tag and a breakdown of the night. You’re in! Very easy - since you reserved a spot.
Relax and enjoy complimentary beer from Taxman Brewing, and Monarch Beverages served by our neighbors at Greek's Pizzeria and Tapp Room, wine from Mallow Run, Coke products, popcorn and great food from local restaurants. Food and drinks are in the lobby, theater and the green room bungalow (through the left chute, up the three steps, turn left).
At 7:30 p.m., we unveil the 2016-17 series in the auditorium.
Grab a seat and cheer loudly for your favorites.
After the series unveiling (about 8 p.m.,) we invite you on stage to start bidding. There is a bid for every budget. Bidding starts as low as $25 (prize sponsorship level) and there are six different levels for each movie. This year we will also have sponsorship opportunities for Franklin Home Tour, national touring acts, and more. We make bidding easy with minimum bid increments and starting bids. There will be a volunteer at each table to answer any questions about bidding.
This year, bidding for Christmas movies
will end before the other events.
Christmas movie bidding will end at 9 p.m.
The bidding for all other events will stop promptly at 9:30 p.m. We ask that you grab another drink or snack, and have a seat in the auditorium. The bids will be compiled (this process takes a few minutes) and winners will be announced on stage.
When the party ends, we will have volunteers set up in the lobby for checkout. Payment is appreciated the night of the event. Cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted.
