What is it?

See what's behind the fences, around the corners, and hidden in plain sight as Franklin Heritage., Inc. hosts its inaugural Secret Garden Walk. Featuring more than a dozen locations around Franklin, this two-day event will inspire your green thumb to shine a little bit brighter.

Where are the gardens?

Locations will be revealed on the day of the event in the program. Programs will be distributed at The Historic Artcraft Theatre (57 N. Main St., Franklin, IN).
Follow the self-guided tour and look for yard signs indicating the tour stop. Each location will be different. Some may have artists or musicians performing. Others may have master gardeners to answer your questions.

What else is going on?

It will be a busy day in Franklin with the 4-H Fair parade happening sometime on Saturday. The Historic Artcraft Theatre will be showing "The Secret Garden" (1993) at 2 and 7:30 p.m., Friday, July 16 and Saturday, July 17.
Madison Street Salvage (350 E. Madison St., Franklin) will be open during the Secret Garden Walk for you to enjoy the antiques and salvage items. Lickity Slick Snowball Shack will be setup out front of Madison Street Salvage for a nice cool treat.
