You are the community that believes in us ...

MAKE A DONATION
Let’s face it, 2020 has been a challenge and the unknown still lies ahead.
Sadly, we've needed to postpone our classic film series - for the second time this year.
We continue to pivot, update our plans and adjust. We can keep our lights on, our employees working, and our popcorn popping - all because of your support. We know we can count on you to stay with us into 2021. Today we are asking you to contribute to the Franklin Heritage, Inc. Annual Fund.

Franklin Heritage, Inc. (FHI) preserves history, restores buildings, including The Historic Artcraft Theatre and Madison Street Salvage, and spreads the message of the importance of historic preservation. When the Artcraft and Madison Street Salvage are open for business, visitors come from across the state and beyond to watch classic movies and purchase antiques and irreplaceable architectural salvage we’ve saved from landfills. These visitors don’t visit just these locations however, they patronize buildings all over Franklin. Every dollar donated to Franklin Heritage, Inc. is multiplied throughout the community with a potential $2 million impact according to Americans for the Arts.

While The Historic Artcraft Theatre was able to reopen its doors for four months following the March-July shutdown, it became necessary to close down again right before our busiest season of the year. During our reopening, we were able to operate at 30 percent of capacity, limiting potential income. In spite of these adversities, FHI is still looking forward. We are planning improvements to the theater and continuing our mission of preservation throughout the community.

Your financial gift to our Annual Fund is appreciated now more than ever. Unlike ticket sales or concessions, 100 percent of your unrestricted donations go toward furthering our mission to preserve the historic character of the City of Franklin. Donations to our Annual Fund and Save-a-Seat campaign are 100% tax-deductible. Madison Street Salvage also accepts donations of furniture and vintage goods. And if you can donate your time, we are always looking for volunteers.

Please consider donating to our Annual Fund this Giving Tuesday (or any time), or consider our Save-A-Seat campaign. No donation is too small or too large, and 100% of your donations are put to good use at Franklin Heritage, Inc.

If your employer has a matching gift program, check to see if your gift will be matched. Many matching gift programs will match gifts to arts and cultural organizations like Franklin Heritage Inc.

Thank you for your support, now and always, in helping preserve Franklin’s precious past for future generations. We hope you and your family are safe, healthy and happy.
