The Taking of Pelham One Two ThreeJune 7 and 8

A taut, tense thriller set amidst the gritty decay of 1970s New York City, The Taking of Pelham One Two Three is a great crime thriller which influenced many later films (most notably with Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs). It also features standout performances from Walter Mathau and Robert Shaw, with one of the best closing shots in movie history.
